Well, I guess I should talk about little ol’ me in this “description box,” eh? Hmmm, where to start? Well, I'm just a gal who loves to sketch. I think I would classify myself an “amateur artist” because I really do not know much about art. Everything I have learned, I taught myself or learned by glancing at books. I do not mind critiques because I believe that there is always room for some improvement in my art skills. Tips and advice are welcome and needed please!

Things I like to sketch? Well, as you can tell by my gallery, I am a fan art nut! Mostly Final Fantasy Nomura-styled. I also love to draw things of nature aswell. Plants and flowers of all kinds and animals like birds and cats. For the moment though I’m trying to focus on drawing humans so the “Nature Art” isn’t booming for my right now I’ve been trying to practice designing original character that just pop into my head. I don’t write stories so these character just come from stories in my head

I do not usually take request because I am such a procrastinator But if I do, there will be a journal update that says so.

I decided to join deviantART because I’m on this website everyday looking at other peoples art. I just want to be a part of the community and I want my own skills to grow. I need the practice and the inspiration and what better place to get inspiration then deviantART?

My other interest you ask? I have plenty of those! You sure you want to read about them? Eh, ok!

My #1 guy in my life is Jesus Christ! Yes I am a Christian and no, that does not mean I am some religious “Holy Roller,” who says, “You’re going to hell because you did this-or-that!” That’s just not me and honestly, that’s not showing God’s love. I believe that if I show people God’s love, they’ll see His love! He really is a loving God and he loves everyone! Don’t ever think he hates. He hates the sin, not the sinner.

Ok, I will spare y’all the sermon, haha! If I don’t stop myself now, I’ll be typing for hours All you need to know is that I love God and He loves you! Just sayin’!

You can tell from my gallery that I’m a totally nerd… Or would I be more classified as a geek? Oh well! I’m a HUGE gamer fan. Get that from growing up with two older brothers I guess Like any other fan girl, I love JRPGs like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. I then throw the curve ball of I-also-love-the-FPSs-and-the-TPSs! At the mention of, “Halo” or “Resident Evil” I go all fan girl and start to get really excited

Being a nerd also means that I read a lot of books. I haven’t had the time to do so recently but still, one of my favorite things to do to this day is to sit outside with a cup of hot peppermint tea and a good book, and I mean a GOOD book, not some sappy romance filled with shallow girls and sparkly vampires. I never got into the Harry Potter series. I’m more of into the “older fantasy” genre. Examples would be “The Chronicles or Narnia,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “Howls Moving Caste,” “Peter Pan,” and “Alice in Wonderland.”

Funny thing about me is when I get into a new fandom, or even a old fandom that I took a break from, I dive into it! Seriously, I like go fandom crazy! If I play one game in a series, I have to play the others… then read the book/comics, then if there’s a movie/TV series I watch those, then there’s the numerous fan fictions and fan art hunting , and even doing some fan art for myself! Getting into Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts was a obsession that lasted for many years. If it involved spiky hair, I was all in on it! That first summer I tackled all the Final Fantasy VII games at the same time! Bought my PSP for the soul purpose of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Dissidia: Final Fantasy. I also downloaded the original FF 7 and 8 that same year. I played so much of 7, that I maxed out the time-meter! Even though I discovered Final Fantasy VII a few years late, *cough*tenyearslate*cough* I fell in-love with the story and characters. It holds a special place in my heart because during that time in my life, I was going through a lot with a friend of mine. It was like, even after all the crap my friend went through, we could still crack jokes about Cloud’s hair or how much of a momma’s boy Sephiroth was. Out of all the fandoms that I’ve gone through, may it be Lord of the Rings, Transformers, Halo, Resident Evil/Zombies, or even Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy will always take the cake because of the memories it brings. I hold on to those memories because they are precious to me, whether they be happy, sad, silly, or even heartbreaking. You shouldn’t forget your past, just learn from it. Sometimes it’s good to look back at your past, not to say, “What could I have done different?” but to say, “Wow, look how far I’ve come!”
